Working hand in hand with the client to come up with a new digital corporate premium for clients’ conference attendees in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. Positioning Schroders as being on the forefront of technology to make good on their digital-First DNA and signalling their commitment to sustainable yet innovative initiatives to help maintain mindshare and goodwill amongst clients amidst reduced physical interactions.

The Implementation

Series of POAP designs for Schroders’ various events throughout the year, ranging from sustainability conferences in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand to investment outlook events. In each conference, attendees could collect a POAP upon completing different activities throughout the conference—tapping on elements of gamification to engage with attendees. For instance, in the case of Schroders’ Singapore Investment Luncheon, each design from the series adopting a consistent visual style but portraying a unique aspect of the Singapore Green Plan 2030: Net-zero emissions, solar panel deployment, and a stronger EV ecosystem. Positioning these as collectibles as part of a series attendees were motivated to complete the set.

The Results

A first step into the world of NFTs for Schroders, our POAPs achieved an average 82% download rate in the conferences across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, each bearing estimated 100-200 attendees. This signalled a success as many were open to trying and downloading our POAPs at conferences and spreading the message of sustainability. Encouraging others to embrace sustainability digitally with our move to progress beyond physical gifting.
